VISUAL CONTENT CREATION FOR DIRECTDOORS.COM

Overview:
I was responsible for creating high-quality, visually appealing imagery to showcase door products on DirectDoors.com. The goal was to produce lifestyle images that seamlessly integrate DirectDoors products into realistic interior settings for use across the website and digital marketing. The examples below highlight a selection of my work from four and a half years with the company.

Image Creator & Digital Editor + Website Administrator

Process & Tools:
AI Concept Generation: I used AI tools such as Sora and Midjourney to generate base interior environments tailored to match the target aesthetic and setting.

Photoshop Editing: Imported and edited the generated images in Adobe Photoshop: Removed or adjusted existing doors in the scenes

Seamlessly inserted DirectDoors door models: Adjusted shadows, lighting, reflections, and color balance to ensure realism and consistency

Final Optimization: Cropped, formatted, and optimized images for web display to ensure fast load times and visual clarity.

Challenges & Solutions:
Blending AI-generated imagery with real product photos required careful lighting and shadow work to maintain realism.

Ensuring the doors looked naturally part of the room involved fine-tuned perspective adjustments and custom masking techniques.

Outcome:
Created a scalable, visually consistent set of product lifestyle images that elevated the brand’s online presence and improved the visual shopping experience.

Below are selected examples of before-and-after images created exclusively in Photoshop. I have also included additional work completed during my four and a half years at DirectDoors.com, which includes creating blog thumbnails and producing technical drawings of bespoke doors for input into CNC software.
